TENNIS ELBOW

Is there such thing as tennis heart?
Overworked, usually by repetitive motions.
They have braces, but the best treatment is rest.
That's the only reason I ever really wanted to get over you,
for the rest.

And Sami calls Jackson "Tennis"
for some reason I always noticed that.
And Jack stood up in church and told us
he is working on trusting in the spontaneity of God.
I always thought God has a 2016 planner,
but maybe I was wrong.

I don't know exactly what this poem is about,
I just wanted to say,
in his own way, he said he has tennis elbow,
and I have tennis heart,
just give me some elbow room,
and in high school PE I was always hitting tennis balls over the wall,
a boy was always retrieving them for me,
mending my tennis heart,
and that wasn't his job.
