He stepped off the landing module and said
"yes darling, of course I understand the gravity of this situation."
I get it, he said, you have moon sand stuck in your fingernails
and people kiss under full moons, and you always wanted to.
But he didn't know how to sympathize with someone who was falling,
when his heart was in zero gravity,
and only kept floating away.
